MAINE MORNING REPORT

The MAINE MORNING REPORT is an out growth of The Maine Morning Duck Report , a series of articles I began writing in the summer of 2007. Friends encouraged me to develop the theme and produce something on a weekly basis. So in 2008, I began to take my reporting of life on the Back Cove of Portland, Maine more seriously. Weekly reports were e-mailed to friends stateside, in Bali and London. Recipients all had a connection and affection for the state of Maine. The feedback was immediate, "you should have a blog." Two months later I introduce the MAINE MORNING REPORT. I will post my early journalings so you can catch up, but the blog will be more expansive and have subjects beyond this unique Portland park neighborhood. Although the locations may change, the soul of the writing will remain the same. From the heart and always about my observations and passion for this amazing state.
